KELLIE

Kellie graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in Resort & Hospitality Management while competing for the FGCU’s Women Swim & Dive team.

After graduating in 2016 Kellie has worked in the administration offices for several country clubs in the Naples area. Her favorite part of the Hospitality industry is always having the opportunity to meet and talk to new people. Her athletic career didn’t end after retiring from collegiate swimming, Kellie traded in her swim cap and googles for a pair of running shoes and began training for her first marathon with the goal to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Two weeks before her race Kellie went for an MRI to only be diagnosed with a stress fracture in her femur. During her recovery Kellie retuned to the pool and picked up cycling for a substitute to running and signed up for her fist Ironman 70.3. Since then Kellie has completed three Ironman 70.3 races, her most recent being the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France.

Along with swimming, biking, and running you can find Kellie in the yoga studio and is a RYT-200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor.
